Jasdeep Kler, MPH

Jasdeep graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Neurobiology, Psychology, and Political Science and from the University of Michigan with an MPH in Global Health Epidemiology.

Jasdeep joined the SEGA Research Group as a Research Associate with interests surrounding racial-ethnic cancer disparities, the impact of health and social policies on racial-ethnic health disparities, and the influence of neighborhoods and communities on health outcomes.

Jasdeep is starting the next phase of his education in the summer of 2021 at the University of Michigan School of Medicine! Congratulations, Jasdeep!

Carly Joseph, MPH

Carly finished her MPH in Epidemiology at the University of Michigan and is returning to medical school at Central Michigan University. During her work with the SEGA Research Group, she focused on investigating the relationship between social isolation and mental health in older adults during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her research and clinical interests include social determinants of health in geriatrics, oncology, and rural medicine.

Marcus L. McKay, Jr., MPH

Marcus completed his MPH in Epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. His research interests involve quantifying sociodemographic information within health systems in order to better understand patient populations.
